Rich holds a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Counseling from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and a Bachelor of Arts (double degree) in Psychology and Criminal Justice from Louisiana College. Mrs. Rivers treats clients with severe PTSD, anxiety disorders, panic disorders, chronic pain, depression, substance dependency, sexual, emotional, and physical abuse, personality disorders, family systems and marital issues, developmental disabilities, traumatic brain injury, autism spectrum disorder, and behavioral issues. Mrs. Rivers is experienced in working with adults with moderate to severe symptoms or those who are in crisis. Specialized training includes risk assessment, trauma competency, cognitive trauma processing, crisis intervention/stabilization, neurodevelopmental issues in autism spectrum disorders, Alzheimers, dementia, and military family life during and after deployment. Primary areas of interest include PTSD and trauma recovery. Preferred methods of treatment include evidence based treatments such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), cognitive trauma processing, and solution-focused methods.
Vonda is a Master’s Level National Certified Counselor (NCC) and a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC) in the state of Georgia with over 2 years of combined experience working within in-patient and partial hospitalization programs as well as in out-patient counseling settings. In October 2011, Mrs. Rivers earned her masters degree from Capella University in mental health counseling.

The standard fee for services rendered is $60.00 per session.
However, at Pathways, we do not want financial difficulties to be the sole determining factor as to whether you choose to seek services.
Therefore, if you feel you are unable to afford our fee and would like to inquire as to whether you qualify for an income-based fee reduction you may do so with your therapist. During the initial session your therapist will work with you to arrive at a mutually beneficial agreement for counseling services.
